DENILSON REVEALS WHAT RUINED ARSENAL CAREER

Ex-Arsenal midfielder Denilson Neves has stated the reason behind the collapse of his career at the North London club many years ago. Denilson talked about his football career at Arsenal in a chat with popular media platform Four Four Two. The one-time Brazilian junior international spoke about his loneliness at Arsenal and how it played a big role in the collapse of his Gunners career.

There was remarkable difference between his life at the match venue and his life at home. DenilsonNeves was playing in front of tens of thousands of people only for him to be lonely when he returns home after the day’s work. The player narrated how he would log on to MSN Messenger to speak to someone who had watches his game for the Gunners but there was no one to speak to about his preferences.DenilsonNeves talked about the pedestal that players have been placed on and that players are also human beings. DENILSON REVEALS HOW WENGER HELPED HIM

 

Former Arsenal midfielder Denilson, also known as Denilson Pereira Neres, has disclosed that he’s indebted to legendary Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger for what he did for him during his spell in North London. He showered praises on the Frenchman during an exclusive interview with The Athletic.


According to Denilson, he never really settled at the Emirates Stadium despite the best efforts of Arsene Wenger for him to be comfortable as best as possible. He also acknowledged the work that fellow Brazilian player Gilberto Silva for him to be alright. (more…)

Denilson to Play in Malta

 

Denilson Pereira Neves, known at the prime of his football career as the most dependable midfielder, will now be seen in action in Malta. He will be playing for the Sliema Wanderers FC in the Maltese Premier League this season.

Denilson is best known for the 7 seasons he spent at Arsenal. He played under Arsene Wenger from 2006 after starting his career with Brazilian side Sao Paulo. During his illustrious career with the Gunners, he scored 7 goals in 96 appearances.

Denilson to Provide Home Entertainment with YouTube

The former footballer from Brazil, Denilson, launched his YouTube channel named the Denilson Show. He has projected the channel in collaboration with Vibra, a company of the Bandeirantes Group that works primarily on digital platforms and content. The former footballer has been working as a commentator and presenter with the group since he joined in June 2010. Within a few days of opening the channel, it got more than 20000 subscribers.

The YouTube channel will showcase his day-to-day activities and the Band’s behind-the-scenes. All the content for the channel will be advised by Denilson himself. It will also showcase how he and his family spend some quality time at home. The platform grid is known to have daily content with different kinds of challenges, question and answer rounds, history, and images related to the show.

BARCA TARGET AUBAMEYANG

Barcelona are looking to tie a loan deal with the Gunners over their striker, Aubameyang and reports say it might happen before the current window closes. The Gabon international having played for Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal and now approaching the end of his career will surely not turn down to represent a side like Barca. Even if it is just for the shortest of time.


Other than players like Denilson and Bendtner who had to leave because they were just not good enough, Arsenal have generally, for the past decade been the feeder team for their direct rivals. Manchester City have been the biggest partakers of the enforced Emirates route but even Barcelona will admit to have also engaged in the art of taking the best thing about Arsenal at any point in time, whenever they feel like and adding it to the outfit at the Camp Nou for their own advantage.

HUDSON-ODOI COMPARED TO EDEN HAZARD

Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi has been compared to Eden Hazard regarding productivity on the pitch. While the Belgian is revered for his hold-up play and creativity, his goals and assists’ tally did not impress many.

Hazard had the potential at Chelsea to break more goal barriers considering his innate talent. Many times, during a counter, it would not be surprising to see Hazard abruptly cut down the speed and dazzle, allowing defenders recover. This is unlike Kevin de Bruyne who would likely send the ball the way of a running forward, assisting for a goal or shot on target at least.

ARSENAL POTENTIAL LINEUP VS ANGERS

Arsenal are in action on Sunday against Angers on Wednesday as part of their pre-season preparations. The Gunners suffered a disappointing 2-1 defeat at home to Lyon on Sunday. A brace from former Celtic man MoussaDembele canceled the opener by Gabon hitman Pierre-EmerickAubameyang.

CHELSEA PLAYER WANTS BRAZIL STAY

Chelsea are known for the number of players that they send on loan every season with the players infamously known as Romans Army. One of the players on loan Nathan wants to remain with current club Atletico Mineiro.

The young attacking midfielder moved on loan to Atletico Mineiro last summer and after initially struggling at the club has found some success in recent weeks. The 23-year-old has a month left on his loan deal and wants to renew it for an additional season.

The winner of FIFA World Cup, Denilson was about to get sent off for his act of making a gesture of love heart towards a female match referee.

During an amicable match in Brazil, the 40-year-old player received a ticking off a warning from the match referee, who was herself a woman, for his awkward and unaccepted behavior towards the match official named Ericles Artuzi.
