ARSENAL POTENTIAL LINEUP VS ANGERS

Arsenal are in action on Sunday against Angers on Wednesday as part of their pre-season preparations. The Gunners suffered a disappointing 2-1 defeat at home to Lyon on Sunday. A brace from former Celtic man MoussaDembele canceled the opener by Gabon hitman Pierre-EmerickAubameyang.

Unai Emery is expected to field most of the players that have played in the game against Lyon as the new season comes closer. We look at the potential lineup that could feature against Angers.

German goalkeeper Bernd Leno is the undisputed number one and should be in goal on Wednesday.  Sokratis and Callum Chambers could be the centre back pairing against the Ligue 1 club.

Chambers has an opportunity to stake an early claim to become a regular for the club following the injury to Rob Holding and contract dispute regarding club captain Koscienly.  Carl Jenkinsonis expected to play at rightback due to Hector Bellerinabscense while SaedKolasinac completes the back four.

The midfield is a mixture of quality as Granit Xhaka is expected to be the experienced head alongside the youthful Willock. MesutOzil has been a constant feature and should start in his favoured number 10 role behind the striker.

Upfront Aubameyang has been impressive on the wings this season and scored the opener in the defeat to Lyon.

The Gabon international should start on the left flank with youngster Saka on the right side of attack. Eddie Nketiah has been impressive so far and would lead the line against Angers.

Meanwhile there have been an update about the injuries to Hector Bellerin and Rob Holding. Bellerin is still undergoing rehabilitation from a knee injury while holding has started light training.

Injury has always been a major problem for the Gunners with the likes of Denilon, Welbeck and AbouDiaby popular players that failed to fulfill their potentials due tpo constant injuries.
