The young attacking midfielder moved on loan to Atletico Mineiro last summer and after initially struggling at the club has found some success in recent weeks. The 23-year-old has a month left on his loan deal and wants to renew it for an additional season.
During an amicable match in Brazil, the 40-year-old player received a ticking off a warning from the match referee, who was herself a woman, for his awkward and unaccepted behavior towards the match official named Ericles Artuzi.
He does not understand how the team lost the World Cup as they had the right players to reach the final. He said that many fans were expecting them to erase the sad memories of the defeat against Germany and unfortunately the team could not achieve that.
He said that you cannot change a team in two games and that the new manager should be given time to improve the team. He said that each manager has their own philosophy concerning the game and that it will take time for the players to adapt.
