Former Arsenal midfielder Denilson believes that Unai Emery is the right man for the job and that the fans should be patient with him. He said that many fans were looking for a change at the head of the team and once they got a new manager they are not willing to give him time.
Denilson said that the new manager has brought in some good players and that it will take some time for them to get used to the team. He said that Torreira is an excellent midfielder and that he is sure that he will bring some much-needed steel in the middle of the park.
Denilson said that the team is good when it comes to attacking and that they will have to work harder on defending. He said that this has been the weakness of Arsenal for a couple of seasons now and that they need to address this if they want to progress.
The former Brazilian international said that the objective of the team should be to get back into the Champions League. He believes that the other teams above them are far ahead in terms of their development and it will take some time for Emery to turn the team into title contenders.
A more realistic objective should be to get back into the Champions League and he feels that the current team is good enough to do it. He said that they just need to become more consistent and realistic on the pitch.
