DENILSON LOOKING FOR RESPONSIBLITIES
Arsenal midfielder Denilson has said that he is looking forward to the increased responsibility that he is having to deal with these days.
Denilson provided the latest example of the selfless attitude that has served the club so well this season during Sunday's FA Cup victory over Huddersfield; having already been reduced to 10 men, the Brazilian midfielder picked up a hamstring problem only to carry on to avoid Arsenal suffering a further numerical disadvantage despite the risk of worsening the injury.
The 22-year-old has started only four League games this season and may well have been eyeing a fifth outing against Everton but his insistence on fighting for the cause last weekend has put his participation tonight in jeopardy, leaving Jack Wilshere and Alex Song to resume duties in the holding midfield role.
"If I didn't come back we only had nine on the pitch - I said it doesn't matter, I have to come back on," said Denilson.
