DENILSON HAPPY WITH COMPETITION

Denilson says that he is happy with the competition for places at Arsenal. The Brazilian has started only thrice in the Premier League and once in the European competition this season, but insists he remains happy with things at north London.

It comes as a different scenario to that which the Gunners found themselves in when Gilberto Silva, Mathieu Flamini and Lassana Diarra left the club, as players like Alex Song, Aaron Ramsey - who is still to return following injury - and Jack Wilshere have since made their mark.

Samir Nasri, Tomas Rosicky and Theo Walcott have also made announced their presence, with Cesc Fabregas having become the captain as well.

"It is very good and healthy to have such competition," Denilson said on the club's official website.
